Research and Education

Cuda Marine Adventures is committed to furthering research and education on marine wildlife. We have spent six years tracking the behavior and habits of the southern resident whales from j, k and l pods as well as transient orca whales. Each vessel is equipped with a daily log book which is used to record the behavior of orca whales, California sea lions and other marine wildlife in the area.

Since the beginning we have been photographing and identifying individual transient and resident whales to assist other research groups in tracking the travel and behavior patterns of the whales.

We also participate in fundraising through direct contributions, grant funds and organizing fundraisers. Approximately $1 per ticket is allocated to research.
